Total Current Word Count: 57,394.

The story isn't quite finished, and I have several chapters to edit, but I did manage to hit the NaNoWriMo goal in time. :)

So, I went from being about 3300 words behind yesterday to only 500 words behind this evening, and I edited chapters 8 and 9, so I am definitely calling today a win! Word count: 34547. I should be able to finish catching up tomorrow and possibly even get ahead.

Last week was a wash. Once again, I worked way beyond my supposed 40 hours. Yay.

I did do some catching up this weekend. My word total now stands at: 30,085. That means I'm two days behind, which could be much, much worse. I did also get chapters 5 - 7 edited, so that's a step in the right direction, too.

I'm officially caught up again. I expect I'll fall behind over this coming week because of work, but if I can get to 25,000/the halfway mark by Friday, I'll consider that a win. I think the real challenge will be getting as much done as possible over Thanksgiving week, because I don't know how much I'll be able to do in the final three days of the month.

I've caught up to today. Word total is now 20,012. If I can do the normal 1667 this evening, I'll be right on schedule.

Chapter 5 is done but not edited and Chapter 6 is more than half way completed.

I'm up to 18,799 words. By tomorrow night, I should be at 21,671. So I'm aiming to do about 2,900 words on Sunday to be caught up. It's doable. I did 3,154 today. My issue is my boss has sent me a project to finish this weekend because she doesn't have boundaries or understand the concept of work hours versus non-work hours. And I need to get some grocery shopping done.

I may have to rely on Thanksgiving week to really get on track.

I've finished Chapter 4. My word total is 14,389. Now that I've given myself a bit of a cushion, I'm going to go back and edit chapters 2 - 4.

I'm done with today and have a good portion of tomorrow's count complete.
